MOUNTAIN BIKE UPDATE FOR 1/31/10. THE NEW FORKS ARE ON AND READY TO GO. I SHORTENED MY BARS ANOTHER 3/4 INCH TO 28.5 INCHES. LOOKING FORWARD TO NICER WEATHER SO I CAN GET THE BIKE OUTSIDE AND RIDE.
truthfully, i have no idea what i plan to do with them. both seals are gone so, they would have to be replaced.
the inner tubes are grooved and the let oil seep out and are wet all the time. not squirting but they leek.
i suppose a guy could rebuild them and keep them covered with the neoprene protectors.
they might just work out fine.
