eBike (Bionx) vs. Mountain bike

As I’m crossing the street a mountain bike goes flying by on my left. I follow an older couple for a bit and then get back up to my normal speed. I easily catch up to the mountain bike which is doing about 30 km/h. When I pedal my eBike with assist turned on I can easily go 38 km/h without breaking a sweat. I actually have to slow down to follow with. Too bad the camera’s memory filled up and the video was cut short cause I pass by him a few 100M down the road on an uphill segment. The loud …

Actually, it’s fine now. I just needed to shut down the charger, unplug the battery, unplug the charger and try it again.

    It worked. All is well.

I’d like to know what happened…

  22. zeuserx says:

I did catch up to him on an uphill segment and just kept going. We was getting smaller and smaller in my helmet mounted rearview mirror.

But like I said: The camera’s memory filled up and it stopped recording.

  23. zeuserx says:

Yes. I seem to be having that problem right now. I put it on the charger last night and it doesn’t seem to be charging. I’ll see when I get home if it worked.

  24. zeuserx says:

Yes. This is possible with a menu hack. Usually the thumb throttle won’t work at 0 km/h. It requires you get moving first. I think it needs 4 km/h. With the menu “hack” you can drop this to 0 thus enabling thumb throttle from a full stop.

Pretty fun actually. Since the Bionx brake sensor is only mounted on the rear brake you can do “burn outs” if the menu is hacked. LOL! Just hold the front brake, put your weight onto the front bars and hold down the thumb throttle. Fun!

The limiter is removed. It keeps assisting a bit beyond 20MPH.
