This road bike is a best-buy based on price/relative quality. The bike is shipped 95% assembled. The remaining 5% is easy as long as you have a set a metric allen wrenches. My sole complaint with regard to assembly is that the reflector brackets do not fit the bike. The ride is good although I have experienced some slippage/clicking in one particular gear but I beleive I can correct that with some adjustments. Overall a good product so far.

I love this bike! though when I first recieved it out of the box, the alignment was a bit off with the back wheel and the breaks needed some adjustment. Had to take it in for a mild tune up but after that it’s better than new. I get so many compliments on my snazy new ride, and although heavy for a road bike, i still can keep up with my Canondale riding friends!

WELL, I BOUGHT THIS BIKE FOR THE WORK OUT, I NEED IT. I’M NOT PLANNING ON TAKING ON LANCE ARMSTRONG. HE HAS A 26+ THOUSAND DOLLAR BIKE AND 20 YEARS OF TRAINING. RAPIDO IS SMOOTH, IF YOU HAVE EVER OWNED A BIKE YOU CAN DO ALL ADJUSTMENTS YOUR SELF, ie., CHAIN, SEAT, AND SO ON. GEAR SHIFTING WILL BE ROUGH. IT IS THE WAY IT COMES OUT OF THE BOX. YOU HAVE TO ADJUST THE GEARS AND BRAKES YOURSELF. I DID AND NOW IT IS SMOOTH. RAPIDO CAN EASYLY BE WORTH MORE MONEY. I THINK IT SHOULD BE. DON’T BE FOOLED. THE REASON THE OTHER BIKES COST MORE IS BECAUSE THEY SLAP ON A NAME OF SOMEONE WHO HAS WON A RACE OR TWO. YOU CAN TAYLOR THIS BIKE THE WAY YOU LIKE WITH THE EXTRA MONEY YOU SAVED. I THINK IT IS FINE THE WAY IT IS. MY FRIND TOLD ME I SHOULD GET STARTED WITH A BIKE THAT COST OVER $600. OR MORE. HA, HA. I GET MY WORK OUT JUST THE SAME. I AM LOVING THE MORNING RIDES IN TOWN. CAN’T WAIT TO GET A BIKE RACK FOR THE CAR AND TAKE IT TO HWY 1 ALONG THE COAST. NOW I HAVE A REASON TO WAKE UP EARLY IN THE MORNINGS.
Great Road Bike

This is a great road bike for the money. I got it a few weeks ago and love it! The shifting is smooth, the bike is light for its class, its VERY fast(I have reached up to 26.2 MPH so far and I just started biking), and is a smooth and comfortable ride. My 3000 dollar bike riding friends are jealous of the seat and how comfy the ride is. That is saying something! This bike has fat tires for road bikes, less flats, and more grip. I reccomened getting some Slime or Flat ATTACK! So if you do get a flat it gets sealed right away.
The only cons I can see is that you need to get its derailleur tuned up, but that is a common thing with pre-built bikes. It took me 15 minutes to have it shifting perfectly.
Conclusion: Great Road bike, fast, reliable, and I highly recommend it!
